life. one word, many questions, no answers. that's how i see it... this is a very very long post btw... this post is basically my view on life... it may be against what some of you peeps believe, but this is how i see it. it's gonna get complicaed but u gotta paint the picture.. it's a lot easier that way. firstly, how can we define normal? if we see someone doing somethign that we don't normally do, the first thing we think is, "oh, the person is crazy.." to us that could be crazy, but to the person, it might be normal! for all you know, we are the ones who are acting abnormal! are you seeing my point? like we think that heis crazy because it has become something that we have accepted. i have more examples but here's one i discussed with my tuition teacher. like ok, so my teacher is christian and i told him about my views. so he said that's not true. the person who defines all these things that i ask is 'God'. so i asked why issit so? and it's cos 'God' is perfect he says. now, this leads back to my question. why issit that 'God' is perfect?(no offence btw to believers of god.. it's jus part of my point) i know in the bible, it says that god is the one and only true god. but why is this so? isn't it true that a perfect someone as defined by us? what we see as a perfect being is someone without a flaw... but incorperating my pal's theory which i agree with him on is that everything is balanced. so how can perfect=flawless??? it has become something once again that WE as HUMANS have defined! then i told my teacher(vince) if may be perfect to christians, but to buddhists, buddha is perfect.. this is my mistake btw... it's not why buddhists follow buddhism.. it's cos of the teachings and his way of life... so why issit that christians believe in god? it's cos they believe god cre8ed the world and god is perfect. then once again, how can we define god as perfect? then V asks me to take a step back. before u define him as perfect, u must believe in him V said. then isn't that just a defination u are accepting therefore u follow god? u are letting humans define that he is perfect therefore u must follow him...
i know many of u are confused at this point... but like it's easier for me to talk to u about it.. so find me to talk about it if u dont understand XP
this thought of mine on life was then brought to the fact that our lives have ben defined by our ancestors... they had help us define our cultures.. like why in america they have a freedom of speech and in s'pore we can't say stuff that offends people? it's because it had been defined by our ancestors that this is wrong and this is right... how can u even say wat is wrong or right? like it is repeating but these questions come to me when i think about it... this theory was given more assertion when i saw the movie The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. In the movie, the whole galaxy was actually created in like a factory... like car building factories? yea like they were built by men. oceans were filled with hoses, canyons were painted with paint.. yea and the white mice that we experiment on? they were actually the so called big bosses of the galaxy... and they were doing experiments on us... i mea doesnt that make you think a lot? anyway, thats pretty much my point.. i have a lot to say, but this post is way too long now... so until next time i have another thought..
